Interviews

Report and users interviews

After several months of preparation, the sessions were able to take place under the supervision of our game designers and without any hitches. Following this first life-size session, we went to receive the impressions of the students. We asked them a few questions about the module.
Of course we asked the teachers to speak and just like the students to find out a little more about their impressions.
Find here the interviews of the first Grail student sessions.

Teacher interviews

Professors Tom Lacassagne and Caroline Duc directing the course of fluid mechanics where the serious game GRAIL intervenes, answered some questions following the first courses with the game GRAIL.

If you want to know more…

We also collected the interview of the designers by Julien Morice, multimedia educational engineer at IMT Atlantique, owner of the YouTube channel: La communauté des talents pédagogiques and of a website: Cartotalents.
Gaëlle Guigon, Christophe Giuliana and Frédéric Sion introduce you to GRAIL. This is a game for fluid mechanics students at IMT Nord Europe. Its purpose is to use as a tool: virtual reality. The originality of the device lies in the fact that it combines both modeled virtual reality and 360° images and videos. Beyond the technical aspect, a whole pedagogical reflection was also carried out. This is to allow students to collaborate while being immersed in a virtual environment with their team.

The functionalities and the concept of virtual reality within the course module had to be tested. Previously, we had never had to do this kind of absolutely revolutionary course module within IMT Nord Europe.

Find below the interviews of the first tests and the interview of Jean-Luc Wojkiewicz. Professor in fluid mechanics who explains the genesis of this project in the following video:
